Andrew Lisero was appointed the Group Director of Audit at KCB Group PLC on September 13, 2024. Prior to this appointment, Andrew served as the Head of Operations Audit at KCB Bank Kenya, a role he held since 2022. He has over 20 years of professional experience in audit, having previously held leadership roles at various banks, as well as at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
Andrew is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Kenya.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Strathmore University Business School, a Pan-African Executive MBA from IESE Business School (Spain), and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of Nairobi. He also possesses several other professional certifications that reflect his commitment to excellence in audit and risk management.
